visatab is a free, neutral visa cost calculator. We help people understand the true, all-in cost of a visa application before they apply — not just the headline fee, but every mandatory charge governments and embassies require.

The problem we solve

Most visa information online is incomplete. Embassy websites show the official application fee but bury or omit costs like biometrics, immigration health surcharges, medical examinations, document apostilles, and minimum insurance requirements. The result: applicants are shocked by the real total after they've already committed.

visatab puts every line item on one screen, in one currency, with links to the official source for each figure.

How we source fee data

Every fee on visatab is sourced directly from official government, embassy, or consulate websites. We link to the original source on every result page so you can verify the numbers yourself. We update fee data regularly — each entry shows the date it was last verified.

We do not scrape government sites in real time. All data is manually verified and stored in our database.

Independence and neutrality

visatab has no affiliation with any government, embassy, visa agency, or immigration law firm. We do not accept payment to alter, promote, or suppress any fee information. Where we link to third-party services (travel insurance, document translation) we may earn a referral commission — this is disclosed on every page where affiliate links appear and never affects the fee data we show.

What visatab is not

visatab is a cost estimation tool, not a legal service. We do not provide immigration advice, visa application assistance, or legal counsel. The figures shown are estimates based on publicly available data and may not reflect your specific circumstances. Always verify fees with the official embassy or consulate of the destination country before submitting any application.

Phase 1 coverage

We currently support five destination countries (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany) and four nationalities (India, Vietnam, Nigeria, Philippines). We are expanding coverage continuously. If your route is not yet supported, check back soon.

Visa fees change frequently. If you spot a figure that looks outdated or incorrect, please let us know and we will verify and update it promptly.
