What data we collect

visatab is designed to be used without an account. The calculator, comparison tool, documents checker, and all country pages work without you providing any personal information.

The only personal data we collect is your email address, and only if you voluntarily sign up for fee change alerts (coming soon). We do not require registration to use any current feature.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not store any personal data or device identifiers. It aggregates anonymous page view data only — no individual user profiles are built.

You can use visatab without accepting any cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to accept.

No cookies

visatab does not set any cookies for tracking, advertising, or personalisation purposes. We may set a strictly necessary cookie (e.g. session state) if you use an authenticated feature in a future version of the site. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Third-party services

Flag images are served from flagcdn.com. The calculator API runs on our own servers via Vercel. Our database is hosted on Supabase (EU region). Where pages contain affiliate links, clicking them will take you to third-party websites with their own privacy policies.

Data retention

We do not currently store any user-submitted data. Calculator queries are processed server-side and are not stored or logged beyond standard server access logs (which are retained for 30 days for security purposes).

Your rights

If you have provided your email address for fee alerts, you can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@visatab.com. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days. Since we collect no other personal data, there is nothing else to delete or export.

We will update this page if our data practices change. The 'last updated' date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
